Over the years, Albert Einstein’s name has become synonymous with genius. In his lifetime, Einstein changed the world, describing the workings of reality better than anyone since Isaac Newton and revealing the capabilities of the atom bomb. In 1999, Time named him Person of the Century.

Here are 25 of Einstein’s most telling quotes; each will take you inside the mind of the legend.

  • On authority

“Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth.”

[The Curious History of Relativity]

  • On scope

“Nature shows us only the tail of the lion. But there is no doubt in my mind                that the lion belongs with it even if he cannot reveal himself to the eye all at                once because of his huge dimension.”

[Smithsonian, February 1979]

  • On Politics

“I am by heritage a Jew, by citizenship a Swiss, and by makeup a human being, and only a human being, without any special attachment to any state or national entity what so ever.”

[The Yale Book of Quotations]

  • On certainty

“As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain; and as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality.”

  • On humility

“As a human being, one has been endowed with just enough intelligence to be able to see clearly how utterly inadequate that intelligence is when confronted with what exists.”

[Letter to Queen Elisabeth of Belgium, September 1932]

  • On relativity

“When a man sits with a pretty girl for an hour, it seems like a minute. But let him sit on a hot stove for a minute – and it’s longer than any hour. That’s relativity.”

[The Yale Book of Quotations]

  • On his growth

“It is true that my parents were worried because I began to speak fairly late, so that they even consulted a doctor. I can’t say how old I was – but surely not less than three.”

[Letter, 1954]

  • On common sense

“Common sense is nothing more than a deposit of prejudices laid down in the mind before you reach eighteen.”

[The Universe and Dr. Einstein]

  • On success

“If A is a success in life, then A equals X plus Y plus Z. Work is X; Y is play, and Z is keeping your mouth shut.”

[The Yale Book of Quotations]

  • On nationalism

“Nationalism is an infantile sickness. It is the measles of the human race.”

[Albert Einstein, the Human Side]

  • On mystery

“The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion that stands at the cradle of true art and true science. Whoever does not know it and can no longer wonder, no longer marvel, is as good as dead, and his eyes are dimmed.”

[The World As I See It, 1930]

  • On solitude

My passionate sense of social justice and social responsibility has always contrasted oddly with my pronounced lack of need for direct contact with other human beings and human communities. I am truly a ‘lone traveler’ and have never belonged to my country, my home, my friends, or even my immediate family, with my whole heart; in the face of all these ties, I have never lost a sense of distance and a need for solitude.”

[The World As I See It, 1930]

  • On presentation

“If I were to start taking care of my grooming, I would no longer be my own self.”

[Letter, December 1913]

  • On imagination

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”

[Smithsonian, February 1979]

  • On motivation

“The ideals that have lighted my way, and time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been Kindness, Beauty, and Truth. Without the sense of kinship with men of like mind, without the occupation with the objective world, the eternally unattainable in the field of art and scientific endeavors, life would have seemed empty to me. The trite objects of human efforts – possessions, outward success, luxury – have always seemed to me contemptible.”

[The World As I See It, 1930]

  • On education

“The aim [of education] must be the training of independently acting and thinking individuals who, however, see in the service to the community their highest life problem.”

[Address, October 1936]

  • On ambition

“Nothing truly valuable arises from ambition or from a mere sense of duty; it stems rather from love and devotion towards men and towards objective things.”

[Letter, July 1947]

  • On learning

“Most teachers waste their time by asking questions that are intended to discover what a pupil does not know, whereas the true art of questioning is to discover what the pupil does know or is capable of knowing.”

[Conversations with Albert Einstein, 1920]

  • On thinking

“I very rarely think in words at all. A thought comes, and I may try to express in words afterwards.”

[Productive Thinking, 1959]

  • On life

“A happy man is too satisfied with the present to dwell too much on the future.”

[Smithsonian, February 1979]

  • On curiosity

“The important thing is to not stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.”

[Nova]

  • On work ethic

“The state of mind which enables a man to do work of this kind … is akin to that of the religious worshipper or the lover; the daily effort comes from no deliberate intention or program, but straight from the heart.”

[Speech, 1918]

  • On childhood

“The ordinary adult never gives a thought to space-time problems … I, on the contrary, developed so slowly that I did not begin to wonder about space and time until I was an adult. I then delved more deeply into the problem than any other adult or child would have done.”

[Letter, 1956]

  • On the role of science

“One thing I have learned in a long life: That all our science, measured against reality, is primitive and childlike – and yet it is the most precious thing we have.”

[Albert Einstein: Creator and Rebel, 1972]

  • On the hustle

“The only way to escape the corruptible effect of praise is to go on working.”

[Smithsonian, February 1979]

Allah’s Pharmacy

Allah’s Pharmacy!!!

image001A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye the pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye…and YES science now shows that carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

image002A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart is red and has four chambers. All of the research shows tomatoes are indeed pure heart and blood food.

image003Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows that grapes are also profound.

image004A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds are on the nut just like the neo-cortex. We now know that walnuts help develop over 3 dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

image005Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.

image006Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don’t have enough sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

image007Eggplant, Avocadoes and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female – they look just like these organs. Today’s research shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? …. It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them)

image008Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the motility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm cells to overcome male sterility.

image009Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.

image010Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries.

image011Grapefruits, Oranges , and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.

image012Onions look like body cells. Today’s research shows that onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes.

The Wooden Bowl

Subject: The Wooden Bowl

How true – very touching.

Read fully & remember -Nothing is Permanent in Life – so live each day as it comes!

The Wooden Bowl

I guarantee you will remember the tale of the Wooden Bowl tomorrow, a week
from now, a month from now, a year from now.

A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and
four-year-old grandson. The old man’s hands trembled, his eyesight was
blurred and his step faltered.

The family ate together at the table. But the elderly grandfather’s shaky
hands and failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon
onto the floor. When he grasped the glass, milk spilled on the tablecloth.

The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess. ‘We must do
something about father,’ said the son. ‘I’ve had enough of his spilled
milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor.’

So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner. There, Grandfather
ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner. Since Grandfather
had broken a dish or two, his food was served in a wooden bowl.

When the family glanced in Grandfather’s direction, sometimes he had a tear
in his eye as he sat alone. Still, the only words the couple had for him
were sharp admonitions when he dropped a fork or spilled food. The
four-year-old watched it all in silence.

One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing with wood
scraps on the floor. He asked the child sweetly, ‘What are you making?’ Just
as sweetly, the boy responded, ‘Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and
Mama to eat your food in when I grow up.’ The four-year-old smiled and
went back to work.

The words so struck the parents, so that they were speechless. Then tears
started to stream down their cheeks. Though no word was spoken, both knew
what must be done.

That evening the husband took Grandfather’s hand and gently led him back to
the family table. For the remainder of his days he ate every meal with the
family. And for some reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care any
longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the table cloth soiled.

On a positive note, I’ve learned that, no matter what happens, how bad it
seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.

Israeli Intelligence in Pakistan

Security agencies in Pakistan arrest a Mossad operative from Lahore

By : Mansoor Asghar Raja
[Daily Ummat newspaper (Urdu), translated by the TX Desk]
For the first time in history, an Israeli agent of Pakistani origin has been arrested from Lahore, who is reportedly from the Seraiki belt region. Sources have revealed that the culprit was held at Guantanamo Bay for two and a half years, during the course of which he was subjected to brainwashing. After that, he was sent to Afghanistan where he was specially trained to plan terrorism. And finally, he was sent back to Pakistan.

Credible sources told Daily Ummat newspaper that the individual’s identity, who is under spotlight, has been kept confidential for now. He is 40 years old and holds a Masters of Science in Information Technology. When he was arrested from a posh area of Defence housing society in Lahore a few weeks ago, he resorted to extreme resistance. Upon arrest, a large cache of weapons, maps of sensitive installations and a laptop were recovered. It came as a surprise development during screening of the culprit’s laptop that he was in touch with people in Israel via email communication; he had been sharing details of sensitive installations with his handler who was in Jerusalem. According to sources, his email inbox was filled with emails from IP addresses traced to Jerusalem. After these startling discoveries, when the culprit was subjected to special interrogation mechanisms, he finally confessed that he was working for Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad.

He further revealed that from Guantanamo, he was sent to the frontier city of Spin Boldak in Afghanistan at a village known as “Raazik Panchheeri” where a purpose-built centre served as base for his training. The village mentioned is the hometown of Kandahar’s spy chief, whose hatred for Pakistan is well-known. It also surfaced during investigations that the training centre was specially allocated for militants who were to be deployed into Pakistan for attacks; it is directly supervised by the Indian Consulate in Kandahar. Besides Indian consul staff, presence of Israeli Mossad operatives was also established who recruit and train stray Pakistanis. For this purpose, militants use the region of Pashin to move to and fro from Pakistan which lies at a strategic location where borders of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran meet.

Sources say that presently, about 250 Pakistanis are under training in the camp, majority of which comprises of young Baloch men. Most of them are those for whom a lot of hue and cry is raised in Balochistan that they are “Missing Persons”.

The arrested culprit was also involved in the attack on a Pakistan Army camp adjacent to the River Chenab in Gujrat city on July 9, 2011. Similarly, he was behind the killing of KPK jail police in Icchra, Lahore on July 12, 2011. The culprit has confessed that he has killed upto 200 security officials. A large stash of money was found in his possession which he said was provided to him by the Mossad.

The arrested terrorist said that all the members in his circle are well-educated; most of them have been arrested also. The terrorist added that a robust network of Mossad is operational across Pakistan which is working on many high-level terrorist plans in connivance with the Indian intelligence RAW.

A Short History Of Palestine

A Short History Of Palestine

The colonization of Palestine fitted well the interests and policies of the British Empire on the eve of the First World War.

Posted January 13, 2013

 History of Palestine

Zionism arrived in Palestine in the late 19th as a colonialist movement motivated by national impulses.

The colonization of Palestine fitted well the interests and policies of the British Empire on the eve of the First World War.

With the backing of Britain, the colonization project expanded, and became a solid presence on the land after the war and with the establishment of the British mandate in Palestine (which lasted between 1918 and 1948).

While this consolidation took place, the indigenous society underwent, like other societies in the rest of the Arab world, a steady process of establishing a national identity.

But with one difference. While the rest of the Arab world was shaping its political identity through the struggle against European colonialism, in Palestine nationalism meant asserting your collective identity against both an exploitative British colonialism and expansionist Zionism.

Thus, the conflict with Zionism was an additional burden. The pro-Zionist policy of the British mandate there naturally strained the relationship between Britain and the local Palestinian society.

This climaxed in a revolt in 1936 against both London and the expanding Zionist colonisation project.

The revolt, which lasted for three years, failed to sway the British mandate from a policy it had already decided upon in 1917. The British foreign secretary, Lord Balfour, had promised the Zionist leaders that Britain would help the movement to build a homeland for the Jewish people in Palestine.

The number of Jews coming into the country increased by the day – although even at that point, during the 1930s, the Jews were just a quarter of the population, possessing 4 percent of the land.

As resistance to colonialism strengthened, the Zionist leadership became convinced that only through a total expulsion of the Palestinians would they be able to create a state of their own.

From its early inception and up to the 1930s, Zionist thinkers propagated the need to ethnically cleanse the indigenous population of Palestine if the dream of a Jewish state were to come true.

The preparation for implementing these two goals of statehood and ethnic supremacy accelerated after the Second World War.

The Zionist leadership defined 80 percent of Palestine (Israel today without the West Bank) as the space for the future state.

This was an area in which one million Palestinians lived next to 600,000 Jews.

The idea was to uproot as many Palestinians as possible. From March 1948 until the end of that year the plan was implemented despite the attempt by some Arab states to oppose it, which failed. Some 750,000 Palestinians were expelled, 531 villages were destroyed and 11 urban neighbourhoods demolished.

Half of Palestine’s population was uprooted and half of its villages destroyed. The state of Israel was established in over 80 percent of Palestine, turning Palestinian villages into Jewish settlements and recreation parks, but allowing a small number of Palestinian to remain citizens in it.

The June 1967 war allowed Israel to take the remaining 20 percent of Palestine.

This seizure defeated in a way the ethnic ideology of the Zionist movement. Israel encompassed 100 percent of Palestine, but the state incorporated a large number of Palestinians, the people who Zionists made such an effort to expel in 1948.

The fact that Israel was let off easily in 1948, and not condemned for the ethnic cleansing it committed, encouraged it to ethnically cleanse a further 300,000 Palestinians from the West Bank and the Gaza strip.

For ALLAH Loves & Cares For You

For ALLAH Loves & Cares For You

QUOTE

Every Friday afternoon, after the Jumma prayers, the Imam and his eleven year old son would go out into their town and hand out “PATH TO PARADISE” and other Islamic literature.

This particular and fortunate Friday afternoon, as the time came for the Imam and his son to go to the streets with their booklets, it was very cold outside, as well as pouring rain.

The boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said, ‘OK, dad, I’m ready!’

His dad asked, ‘Ready for what’?

‘Dad, it’s time we go out and distribute these Islamic books.’

Dad responds, ‘Son, it’s very cold outside and it’s pouring rain.’

The boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking, ‘But Dad, aren’t people still going to hell, even though it’s raining?’

Dad answers, ‘Son, I am not going out in this weather.’

Despondently, the boy asks, ‘Dad, can I go Please’

His father hesitated for a moment then said, ‘Son, you can go. Here are the booklets. Be careful son.’

‘Thanks, Dad!’

And with that, he was off and out into the rain.

This eleven year old boy walked the streets of the town going door to door and handing everybody he met in the street a pamphlet or a booklet.

After two hours of walking in the rain, he was soaking, bone-chilled wet and down to his VERY
LAST BOOKLET.

He stopped on a corner and looked for someone to hand a booklet to, but the streets were totally deserted.

Then he turned toward the first home he saw and started up the sidewalk to the front door and
rang the door bell.

He rang the bell, but nobody answered..

He rang it again and again, but still no one answered. He waited but still no answer.

Finally, he turned to leave, but something stopped him.

Again, he turned to the door and rang the bell and knocked loudly on the door with his fist.

He waited, something holding him there on the front porch! He rang again and this time the door slowly opened.

Standing in the doorway was a very sad-looking elderly lady. She softly asked, ‘What can I do
for you, son?’

With radiant eyes and a smile that lit up her world, this little boy said,

‘Ma’am, I’m sorry if I disturbed you, but I just want to tell you that ALLAH REALLY LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU and I came to give you my very last booklet which will tell you all about
ALLAH, the real purpose of creation, and how to achieve His pleasure.’

With that, he handed her his last booklet and turned to leave.

She called to him as he departed. ‘Thank you, son! And GOD Bless You!’

Next week on Friday afternoon after Jumma prayers, the Imam was giving some lectures.

As he concluded the lecture, he asked, ‘Does anybody have questions or want to say anything?’

Slowly, in the back row among the ladies, an elderly lady’s voice was heard over the speaker.

‘No one in this gathering knows me. I’ve never been here before. You see, before last Friday I
was not a Muslim, and thought I could be.

My husband died few years ago, leaving me totally alone in this world.

Last Friday, being a particularly cold and rainy day, I was contemplating suicide as I had no hope left.

So I took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway into the attic of my home.

I fastened the rope securely to a rafter in the roof then stood on the chair and fastened the other end of the rope around my neck.

Standing on that chair, so lonely and broken-hearted I was about to leap off, when suddenly the loud ringing of my doorbell downstairs startled me. I thought, I’ll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away.

I waited and waited, but the ringing doorbell seemed to get louder and more insistent, and then the person ringing also started knocking loudly….

I thought to myself again, ‘Who on earth could this be? Nobody ever rings my bell or comes to see me.’ I loosened the rope from my neck and started for the front door, all the while the bell rang louder and louder.

When I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes, for there on my front porch was the most radiant and angelic little boy I had ever seen in my life.

His SMILE, oh, I could never describe it to you! The words that came from his mouth caused my heart that had long been dead TO LEAP TO LIFE as he exclaimed with a cherub like voice, ‘Ma’am, I just came to tell you that ALLAH REALLY LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU!’ Then he gave me this booklet, Path to Paradise that I now hold in my hand.

As the little angel disappeared back out into the cold and rain, I closed my door and read slowly every word of this book.

Then I went up to my attic to get my rope and chair. I wouldn’t need them any more.

You see? I am now a Happy Vicegerent of the One True ALLAH.

Since the address of your congregation was stamped on the back of this booklet, I have come here to personally say THANK YOU to ALLAH’s little angel who came just in the nick of time and by so doing, spared my soul from an eternity in hell.’

There was not a dry eye in the mosque. The shouts of TAKBIR…ALLAH AKBAR.. Rented the air.

Imam-Dad descended from the pulpit to the front row where the little angel was seated….

He took his son in his arms and sobbed uncontrollably.

Probably no jama’at has had a more glorious moment, and probably this universe has never seen a father that was more filled with love and honor for his son…

Except for One. This very one…
