Israeli Attacks Continue Despite Ceasefire In Gaza

Israeli Attack On Car Despite Ceasefire In Gaza, Four Palestinians Injured

Gaza (INP) Despite the Ceasefire In Gaza agreement, Israel’s aggression in the West Bank continues. According to Arab media,

The Israeli army martyred a young and an elderly man in the West Bank, while 23 houses were destroyed by explosions in the Jenin camp.

The explosions also severely damaged the government hospital in Jenin. According to Med Reports, 27 Palestinians have been martyred in attacks by Zionist forces in the West Bank since the Ceasefire In Gaza agreement, and the Israeli army forcibly displaced 15,000 Palestinians in the Jenin operation.

On the other hand, Hamas, in response to Israel’s brutal actions, has said that the destruction of houses in the West Bank is proof of the continuation of the war. Israel’s increasing actions reflect a criminal act. Israeli war crimes are continuing due to the silence of the international community.

At least four Palestinians were injured in an Israeli attack on a coastal road west of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip on Sunday.

According to Reuters, medical personnel had previously said that a boy had died in the attack, but later said that the injured man had been rescued.

The Israeli military says an Israeli aircraft attacked a suspicious vehicle heading towards northern Gaza outside the inspection route agreed upon in the ceasefire agreement.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) did not provide details about the impact of the attack or casualties, but said: “We are prepared for any situation. The IDF will continue to take any necessary action to thwart any immediate threat.”
Despite a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, this Israeli attack comes at a time when there is one day left before negotiations for the second phase of the Ceasefire In Gaza begin.
The agreement between Israel and Hamas stipulated that they would begin a second round of talks 16 days after the first phase of the Ceasefire In Gaza. Monday marks the 16th day since the agreement.
Fighting stopped after a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas last month after a long war.
The second phase of the negotiations is expected to include a complete Ceasefire In Gaza and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, as well as the release of all Israeli hostages.

After Ceasefire In Gaza, 50 Palestinian Patients Arrive In Egypt Through Rafah Crossing

The Hamas-run Health Ministry said that 50 Palestinian patients from the Gaza Strip, including 30 children with cancer, died on Saturday through the Rafah crossing.

As part of the ceasefire agreement, the Rafah Crossing has been reopened to traffic after an eight-month closure.

Egyptian channel Al-Qahirah News showed footage of the first group of 50 Palestinian patients, including a child suffering from an autoimmune disease.

According to Arab News, the director of Gaza hospitals, Muhammad Zaqout, said that “Egypt has accepted 50 of the medical cases. He expressed hope that this number will increase.”

He said, “6,000 cases are ready for transfer, while more than 12,000 cases are in dire need of treatment.”

“The first group arrived in Egypt through the Rafah crossing on Saturday. They include 30 children with cancer, 20 wounded people including a woman, and their accompanying people,” he said.
In addition, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, Kaja Kalas, said, “The European Union has deployed a monitoring mission at the Rafah crossing at the request of the Palestinians and Israel.”
“This mission will support Palestinian border officials and allow individuals, including those in need of medical care, to move out of Gaza,” the official wrote on an account.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization, the number of injured Palestinians has reached 111,580 since October 7, 2023. Of these, 12,000 injured require immediate medical evacuation from the Gaza Strip.
